Stepping out of my comfort zone..into the unknown.

This month I have started filming content for my subscription service and I have been experiencing a variety of different emotions, from confidence and excitement, to anxiety, fear and self-doubt. 

Reflecting on these feelings, I know that my fears stem from stepping out of my comfort zone, practicing in front of a lens for the first time, worrying that I may not look like a yoga or Instagram model, knowing that the market is saturated with yoga and pilates teachers.

When I pause, however, and reflect on the reason that I am here, I remind myself what I offer that others don’t, which is a personable and realistic approach to your practice. It is the incredible feedback that I have had from my clients that has driven me forward in my quest to pursue this dream.  As a yoga instructor, I feel I radiate an energy that sets me apart from the rest. My teaching style is infused with passion and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. I strive to create a nurturing space where my clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. I customize each class to cater to individual needs, allowing clients to explore their boundaries and experience transformative growth and I thrive on expanding my knowledge and honing my skills to offer innovative and engaging sessions.

What have I learnt from this experience?  That when you have feelings of self-doubt, come back to your genuine self, and remind yourself that embracing the unknown, is the birthplace of growth and self-discovery. By stepping out of my comfort zone I have unearthed incredible experiences and made lifelong friendships, as well as unlocking hidden potential I never knew I even had.

Your perspective of the world and the people around you, starts and ends in your mind. Stop believing in false ideas cultivated in your head and start living and creating the live you want.

If I can inspire one person, through my words and actions, then I feel I have made a profound impact on the world and this gives me a huge sense of gratitude and joy.  I encourage you to embrace challenges, push beyond limits, and pursue your dreams.
